Exhibit Info

Wednesday, November 11, 2009 is the 91st anniversary of the end of World War I. Heroes' Trees, decorated with photos of those that served, will be on display at all EVPL libraries through Sunday, November 15.

We asked the community for photos of family members & friends that fought in any of America's wars or worked in the war industries. All photos we received are on the trees at each of our locations and posted below.

Heroes' Trees is a joint project between the EVPL and Purdue's Military Family Research Institute. Please join us in honoring these brave men & women.

This exhibit is part of the library's Honoring Our Country's Veterans and War Industry Workers series. For more details, call (812) 428-8241.
