Against Medical Advice

Having published over 50 novels -- with sales worldwide of more than 140 million copies, James Patterson has just released his second non-fiction title, "Against Medical Advice: One Family's Struggle with an Agonizing Medical Condidtion."  His first non-fiction work, "The Day America Told the Truth," was published in 1991.

His co-writer is good friend and former advertising colleague Hal Friedman, whose 4-year-old son woke up one morning with symptoms of Tourette's Syndrome.

Read the USA Today review.  Or go to the Tourette Syndrome Association website for more information on this insidious illness whose treatment can be worse than the disease itself.
