Tony Hillerman died Sunday, October 26, 2008, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was 83. New York Times Book Review mystery columnist Marilyn Stasio has posted a nice tribute and appreciation of him. USA Today also posted an article. I'm sure there will be lots more.
