farmI must admit that there are days when my under two year olds are just not interested in the book I'm reading for storytime. I get about three pages in and the kids are lost. The birds outside the window are much more interesting than my shapes book. I don't get too worried though. I have a trusty standby. A book that never fails to delight my young audience. That book is: Farm Faces: a Book of Masks. This isn't just any book about cows and pigs, this is a book of masks! The eyes are cut out out and allows the kids to hold the book up and actually become the chicken we are talking about. The brave ones even make the animal sounds! This is a cute book that the kids have a great time with. I reccomend this book for active little ones who have trouble sitting down and listening to a story. Also check out Zoo Facesand Goodnight Faces.
