Quitclaim Deed

The Quitclaim Deed is a legal form that we are asked about quite frequently. Just this morning a customer came in to get a copy of a Quitclaim Deed. The Recorder's Office told her to go to the library to get a copy of the form. I was glad that she gave me that tidbit of information as I usually find a generic blank Quitclaim form on the Internet or I find one in a legal form book. I went to the Vanderburgh County Recorder's Office website and found not only a Quitclaim Deed specific to Indiana, but many forms that we may find useful in the future.

I didn't know about these forms, either.  Cool!

Good to know this site's there.  Funny that the Recorder's Office didn't know they had a copy of the form on their own website!

Good information, but there is a law library in the Civic Center for people to get forms. I don't think they make that clear when they send people to the library.
