Early voting for primary election available at EVPL locations

EVPL will host early voting at Central Library and four branches prior to the primary election day on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

Monday, April 30, 2012 through Friday, May 4, 2012

Times

Monday - Thursday: Noon - 6:00pm
Friday: Noon - 5:00pm

Polls will close promptly at scheduled time. You must be registered to vote in Vanderburgh County to vote early at the library.

Early voting at EVPL libraries

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will host early voting at five locations this year. Early voting will take place three weeks prior to the November 2 general election.

Monday, October 11 through Friday, October 29

Times

Monday - Thursday: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Friday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Polls will close promptly at closing time, regardless of the length of the line.

Early voting at libraries ended October 31 but you can still vote early at the Election Office (or go to your polling place on Election Day)

Friday, October 31 was the last opportunity for early voting at the Vanderburgh County Libraries!

However, early voting for all Vanderburgh County residents continues at the Election Office in Room 214 of the City County Building through Monday, November 3. Hours at the Election Office are these:

Saturday, November 1, 8 am to 3 pm
Monday, November 3, 8 am to noon

A sample ballot is available on the Vanderburgh County Clerk website.

If you are unsure whether or not you are registered, go to the Indiana Statewide Voter Registration System website. Once there you can see the location of your polling place on Election Day as well as driving directions. On Election Day the polls are open from 6 am to 6 pm. You must go to your own polling place on Election Day!

Early Voting begins today

Beginning today and running through October 31, Vanderburgh County residents may vote early at several of our EVPL locations: Central Library, McCollough Branch, North Park Branch, Oaklyn Branch, and Red Bank Branch. The hours are Monday through Thursday, 1:00-7:00 PM, and on Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
