Make A Beautiful Organza Brooch

At this week's Savvy Senior Series program, we are learning to make a brooch out of organza. Please join us and design your very own beautiful brooch to wear this summer.

Carriage House Apartments at 5300 Carriage Drive is hosting this program at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 17th.

Come, be creative and join the fun!

Beat the heat this Sunday, July 24 at 2:00 PM in Central Library's Browning Events Room. Local magician/illusionist Matt Grisham will perform and entertain you in our cool and comfortable surroundings. This event is our Finale program for the Savvy Seniors Series, however it is open to adults of any age. Come join us and bring a friend!

Open House - Gizmos & Gadgets

Please join us on Monday, July 18th when the Savvy Seniors Series and Best Buy present, "Gizmos & Gadgets". This event is an Open House for all ages and will be held in the Browning Events Room from 3:00-8:30 PM. No reservations are required and you may stop by anytime and peruse the booths - where the newest technological devices will be displayed. We will have a little of everything from digital cameras, smart phones, laptops to e-readers. The Geek Squad from Best Buy will be there to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Stop by and start letting technology work for you!

Soundproof Barbershop Quartet

Come join us as Soundproof Barbershop Quartet performs on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 PM in the Browning Events Room at Central Library. This is the Finale program for our spring “Savvy Seniors Series”, however it is free and open to all ages. Refreshments will be provided as you sit and listen to the harmonic sounds of this award winning group. You will not want to miss this one!
