Art Journaling: Permission to Play

Thursday, November 1, 2012
1:00pm - 2:30pm
Oaklyn - Meeting Room

Maintaining an artist's journal will keep you focused in the use of your creative tools, will sharpen your drawing and painting skills and help you to work in series with the imagery and motifs of your choosing.

This class offers you simple, fun and approachable ideas to get you drawing, mixing and using watercolor (pencil and/or paints) acrylics, composing pages, and mixing up your media.

Part of each class will include easy journal-making, making journal word charms, and exploring different types of journals.

No experience necessary! And we will provide the supplies! Just bring any ephemera....paper scraps, photos, postage stamps, etc....that you want to incorporate into your journal.

This is a three part series (November 1, 8, and 15) and registration covers all three sessions. Register online at www.evpl.org or by calling 428-8234 ext. 5403.
