Computer & Internet Use

Computer Access

All EVPL locations have public-access computers. Computers provide Internet access & Microsoft Office.

Computer use requires a library card or Computer Guest card, available at the Check Out desk.

Computer Usage per Day:

Central Library 3 hours
All other locations 2 hours

If you've used your maximum session time per day at one location, you may visit another location for additional sessions.

Internet Access

Need Internet access for your laptop or tablet? Visit any EVPL location & connect in one of the following ways.

Wired Access

Wired Internet access is available for laptops. Bring your own network cable & plug in to our network.

Wireless Access

Wireless Internet access is available for laptops, tablets, smartphones, and portable devices with Wi-Fi capabilities & a web browser.

Enable Wi-Fi on your device & connect to the "EVPL Public Wireless" network. After connecting, you may be immediately prompted to accept our Internet Use Policy, depending on your device. If not, you'll be prompted when opening the web browser on your device.

After accepting the policy, you will have Internet access on your device.
