Every year, the American Library Association and Amnesty International designate the last week of September to celebrate our intellectual freedom to read. Banned Books Week serves to highlight those books and authors who have been censored over the years due to their seemingly unorthodox or unpopular ideas.
In support of this celebration, EVPL has curated a collection of popular banned books for you to check out.
