It’s a new season and there are lots of fun events happening at EVPL! Between pumpkin decorating, tea time, and Día de los Muertos – there’s something for everyone. Please take a look below to learn more about a few of our fall programs.
Immerse yourself in a bit of art history and feel inspired to make your own masterpiece to keep. In this session, we will re-create “The Scream” by Edvard Munch with string, yarn, and ribbon.

Make your very own talking feather and share in the re-telling of this Native American legend. In Native American cultures, decisions are made by shared agreements. This requires listening to one another. One way to ensure listening is by creating a talking object, such as a stick, stone, or seashell. These items are decorated with feathers, string, and paints, and encourage listening and cooperation. Increase your own heart for listening and cooperation by sharing in the legend of the talking feather.
