The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library invites all readers to participate in our Fall Reading Challenge: Fall into Reading, kicking off on Friday, October 1.

The challenge will last until Monday, November 15, and all ages are welcome to participate.

How to participate

Readers can track books read on a paper log that can be picked up from any EVPL location, by utilizing EVPL’s Beanstack, or by calling 812.428.8200 to record books read.

Participants will be grouped by age: 0-5 years old, 6-8 years old, 9-12 years old, 13-17 years old, and 18 and older.

How to win

Every book read is an entry for a grand prize!

The challenge will conclude after reading 10 books. Three grand prize winners from each age group will be randomly drawn at the conclusion of the Fall into Reading challenge.

Reading is the best way for anyone to learn no matter what age! Reading and sharing stories opens up new worlds and encourages new ideas. EVPL supports our community by providing resources and opportunities for reading, storytelling, and conversations.
