Here’s how EVPL has helped you thrive

  • “When I first moved to Evansville, I didn’t know a single soul. It was exciting, but also a little daunting to start fresh in a completely new place. One of the first places I found comfort was the local library. It became more than just a quiet space with books — it was where I connected with others through events, book clubs, and casual conversations. The library helped me find my footing and build a sense of community. It made Evansville feel a little more like home.”
  • “I love our libraries! They not only provide books, music, movies, and resources but the events are always so much fun! Everyone is super nice and welcoming to everyone. It’s one of my safe places in the craziness of our world today. When in doubt go to the library. :)”
