EVPL is pleased to present Adventure Academy, an online educational game for elementary and middle school students, available for FREE with your library card!
What is Adventure Academy?
Adventure Academy is an educational massively multiplayer online game (MMO) for children 8-13 years old. Featuring a curriculum-first approach, it includes hundreds of hours of instructive activities that teach important academic skills in the areas of math, language arts, science, social studies, and more!
Who created Adventure Academy?
It was developed by Age of Learning, the company behind the popular digital learning program ABCmouse (which you can also access for free with your library card!). It includes the insights of many industry professionals ranging from teachers to game designers to animators. Together, they were able to place an engaging curriculum that meets national educational standards within a 3D world with cutting-edge graphics and visual effects.
What is gameplay like?
Accessible across multiple platforms, including on computers, smartphones, and tablets, players can customize their avatar, complete quests and learning challenges, collect items, and interact with complex non-player characters as well as other online learners! There are thousands of games to play solo or with friends. It is important to note that the environment is compliant with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA) and parents control the level of in-game communication for their children.
How to create an account
