Beginning Wednesday, February 14, and continuing through Friday, March 8, Seasons of Sharing is collecting items for Be Kind for Ollie comfort bags.

Be Kind for Ollie provides first responders with bags filled with items for children who have been involved in crisis situations.

The list below are items being collected. Those items marked with an *asterisk are the most in-demand items for these comfort bags.

You can bring Be Kind for Ollie comfort bag donations to any EVPL location and place them in designated bins.

Be Kind for Ollie’s mission is to help educate the community about hot car deaths. They support grieving families through book donations and serve children through education, health, and other human service initiatives.

About Seasons of Sharing

The Seasons of Sharing initiative was launched in December 2021 to provide opportunities for our community to give back through donation drives. Previous drives have supported Hangers, the EVSC Student Clothing Resource, Evansville Animal Care and Control, and The Teacher Locker.

Seasons of Sharing is coordinated by Helen A., LucyAnne K.,  and Becca S.
