Get free tutoring and lifelong learning resources from Brainfuse and EVPL

Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library has partnered with Brainfuse to provide you with four great resources. EVPL has offered JobNow to our community since 2019. Today, we are proud to launch these additional services: HelpNow (tutoring), CollegeNow (college admissions and search assistance) and VetNow (navigating veteran programs and resources). Here’s a breakdown of each of these resources, along with how-to guides and videos.

• HelpNow offers live tutor access for homework help, skills building, and test preparation. After taking a quiz, the user can connect directly to a live tutor from the test center without returning to the main page. Tutors are available every day from 2:00 – 11:00 pm CT. *HelpNow has replaced EVPL’s Tutor.com service.
• CollegeNow provides users with assistance regarding financial aid to admissions strategies, and expert counselors offer personalized assistance to help you achieve your higher education goals. Counselors are available Monday-Thursday from 1:00 – 10:00 pm CT.
• VetNow supports your community’s veterans and their families with navigating the VA bureaucracy, providing academic tutoring, and employment transition assistance. Support navigators are available Monday-Friday from 1:00 – 10:00 pm CT.
• JobNow provides users with various services to help in every step of the job search process including job searching, resume templates, professional resume review, and live interview coaching. Coaches are available every day from 2:00 – 11:00 pm CT.

Brainfuse also offers the free Adult Learning Center to answer questions about high school equivalency testing (HISET/GED), as well as help with technology, like Microsoft Office.
