On Tuesday, March 3, EVPL servers will be migrating to the cloud. This will allow us to provide better customer service to our community.

When the migration happens on the day of March 3, our servers will be down.

Services that will be affected include:

  • Checking out materials
  • Placing materials on hold
  • Release of new DVDs will be delayed until Wednesday, Mar. 4
  • Self-Check Out Stations
  • Searching the EVPL catalog
  • Accessing the My Account feature
  • The EVPL app
  • Digital resources (such as Overdrive)

On Tuesday, March 3, if you would like to check out materials, you will need to bring in your library card to complete an offline circulation check out. If you have lost your card, come into the library before that day to get a new one.

The whole process is expected to take eight hours on Tuesday, March 3.

We want to thank the community for being patient with us as we make this change and we apologize for the inconvenience.

If you have questions, please reach out to marketing@evpl.org.
