Every week, EVPL will be posting a new STEAM challenge for you to complete from your home! The challenge will run from Monday until Friday. Your parents can help, or you can complete the challenge on your own. We would love to see your creations! Submissions will be posted the following Monday when a new challenge is presented.
It’s “Young Scientists’ Day” at Evansville STEAM Academy, the best school in the country for studying Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
While taking a tour, you and your group are suddenly locked in a classroom! Can you follow the clues, solve the puzzles, and make it to the school’s auditorium in time? Only the students who make it though will be admitted to the Academy in the next term.
**Note to parents: This escape room will take participants to websites outside of the escape room on two occasions. We have tested them to be family-friendly, but you may want to monitor the child’s progress through the rooms.
When you’re ready, start here: https://forms.gle/6ZKjTkZaegsQNaPZA
You may complete this escape room by yourself or with friends and family. Or, you can compete against them to see who can finish with the fastest time.
Just make sure you have fun!
Age group/grade level suggested
Digital Escape Rooms are a fun family activity!
Students in Grades 3 – 6 should be able to play on their own; younger ones may need help with reading the clues from an adult or older students
At the end of the Escape Room, please complete the survey and let us know what you thought of the game. Be sure to click on “Submit” so that we can keep track of how many play the game. If you timed yourself, let us know how long it took you to complete the escape room.
With 8 locations throughout Vanderburgh County, EVPL is ready to discover, explore, and connect WITH you! We encourage you to uncover new things, revisit old favorites, and to engage with us along the way.
