EVPL is commemorating Women’s History Month in March. Women’s History Month originally began as Women’s History Week in 1982. Over the next five years, the US celebrated the contributions of women during one week in March. In 1987, Congress passed a law marking the celebration during the entire month. We encourage you to join EVPL in recognizing Women’s History Month over the next few weeks. You can participate by enjoying any of the programs and resources listed below.

Fandom Friday Trivia • Super-Women

  • Friday, March 3 at 4:30 pm • EVPL Red Bank
  • Monthly fandom-focused trivia. Each month, we’ll dive into a different fandom from film, TV, books/comics, video games, and more! No devices necessary. Prizes for winners! Cosplay optional.

Women’s History Month Movie: He Named Me Malala

  • Wednesday, March 15 at 4:00 pm • EVPL West
  • Join us for a showing of the documentary He Named Me Malala (PG-13) in honor of Women’s History Month.

Women’s History Month Trivia Board

  • All month at EVPL Stringtown
  • Complete a trivia quiz on Women’s History for a chance to win a prize! Entries accepted through March 31.

Women’s History BINGO

  • Monday, March 13 at 4:00 • EVPL North Park
  • Join us during Women’s History Month for BINGO. Play BINGO inspired by historical women and their accomplishments throughout history.
