Let EVPL help your child prepare for school! We have a wide variety of resources available to help make the transition easier for you and your child. Our initiatives such as 1OOO Books Before Kindergarten, Storytime To Go, and our in-person programs can help your child learn necessary skills such as gross and fine motor development, letter recognition, social-emotional skills, and more.

These core programs help children learn through reading, singing, talking, playing, and writing.

Our STEAM programs let children explore science concepts in a fun and safe environment as well as develop critical thinking skills.

Enjoy our storytimes at home, at the park, or anywhere you happen to be!

These calendars provide an easy way to incorporate the fundamentals of early literacy (reading, writing, singing, playing, and talking) each and every day.

This initiative started in 2019 and encourages families to get together and read every day.

Join the fun and help us see how many books Evansville and Vanderburgh County can read in 2024! Pick up a monthly reading tracker at any location, or print your own at home.

These interactive kits include books and activities you can do right in your home! Help your child cultivate a scientific mindset with these engaging activities.
